CASE 30 Index Maintains Positive Performance
The stock market maintained its positive performance for the second day in a row, with
the CASE30 Index gaining 0.3% to close at 10,810.83 points, although turnover
remained moderate at E£1.6 billion (US$301.5 million). Retail investors continued to
dominate the market, with 73% of the market, while institutions accounted for the
remaining 27% of the market. Meanwhile, local trading accounted for 74% of the total
turnover, while foreign and Arab investors accounted for 26%. Foreigner investors
emerged as sellers, while Arab investors were buyers.
