CASE 30 Index (.CASE: 11,071.93)

A long white candle at resistance levels. A sign of strength. Another push from the bulls above the resistance of 11,150 points and the index might be on it’s way to re-test the year high found close to the resistance of 12,000 points. A close above 11,150 points triggers a buy signal for the hit and run trader.

CASE30 is still an equal performer vs. the MS EM Index. Investors: Hold.

The market strengthened in Wednesday’s session, with the CASE30 Index gaining 1.9% to reach 11,071.93 points on a high turnover of E£1.7 billion (US$318.42 million).

Institutional investors constituted 42% of the market trading for the day, while retail investors comprised the remaining 58%. Institutional investors emerged as net sellers, while retail investors concluded the session as net buyers. Local traders had the biggest share of the market trading with 70% of turnover, while foreign and Arab traders constituted 30% of volumes. Local and foreign investors were net sellers, while Arab investors ended the session as net buyers.
